This preclinical, laboratory course is designed to provide dental hygiene students with the foundational skills necessary for effective patient care. Emphasizing hands-on practice, students will learn the proper use of dental instruments for assessment and dental hygiene care. Through structured, supervised exercises, students will refine their ability to assess clinical conditions, perform basic instrumentation, and develop an understanding of the importance of ergonomics and infection control protocols.
