Demonstrate an understanding of the proper use and care for the microscope
Conduct experiments using aseptic technique and proper laboratory procedures
Perform the gram stain and other appropriate stains
Identify the morphology and arrangement of bacterial organisms
Demonstrate the ability to isolate and identify organisms through the use of selective and differential media and sensitivity tests
Demonstrate the ability to perform tests which are used in differentiating bacteria, such as TSI, Sugar fermentation, Citrate, Urease, Hydrogen Sulfide, Catalase, and Amino Acid Tests
